Prof. Ike Nwachukwu

Prof. Ike Nwachukwu

President

Ike Nwachukwu is a Professor of Agricultural Extension and Rural Sociology at the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Nigeria. He holds diverse academic qualifications including a B.Sc. in Mass Communication and Sociology from the University of Lagos and a Ph.D. from Obafemi Awolowo University.

With over two decades of experience, he has successfully supervised twenty-two Ph.D. students and authored more than eighty research papers. He has consulted for nine local and foreign organizations and served as a Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow, UK.

In 2012, he served as a Senior Research Adviser at Shell Petroleum Development Company and is currently a member of the Federal Government’s Agricultural Extension Transformation Agenda.

Dr. (Mrs) Jemimah Ekanem

Secretary

Jemimah Timothy Ekanem is a Senior Lecturer at Akwa Ibom State University. She holds a Ph.D. in Rural Sociology and Extension from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike. She has been a pioneer in agricultural communication and extension education since 2004.

A multi-award winner at international conferences in Dubai and Addis Ababa, she is also a former research intern at Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC). She has published widely in both national and international scholarly journals.

Prof. Olayinka Nwachukwu

Prof. Olayinka I. Nwachukwu

Prof. Olayinka I. Nwachukwu holds a Ph.D. in Soil Science from the University of Glasgow, UK, as a Commonwealth Academic Staff Scholar. She is an Associate Professor of Soil Science at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Nigeria.

Her research focuses on soil and groundwater contamination and sustainable remediation methods using organic materials. She is also the Vice President of the Organization for Total Women Development (OTWOD), actively advocating for environmental safety and waste management.

Dr. Eric Irozuru

Dr. Irozuru is an Information Technology and Business Strategy consultant with over 25 years of international experience across Europe, Asia, and Africa. He is the founder of ECR Technology Services, focusing on IT strategy alignment and innovation management.
